NURSE CATEGORY DESCRIPTION

Nurses are healthcare professionals who provide essential patient care, combining compassion, expertise, and clinical skills. Nurse volunteers work in vitals taking blood pressure readings on all patients as well as blood sugar readings on all patients with a history of diabetes. Nurse volunteers also work in patient registration as well as exit providing guidance on prescribed medications.

AREAS IN WHICH NURSES ARE NEEDED

Volunteers working in the vitals area will be taking blood pressure readings for every patient and blood sugar’s for patients who have a medical history of high blood sugar and/or diabetes.
